Hi, my name is Audra Kippes, and I am a Senior Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Autism West’s Northglenn location. I am originally from Colorado, though I spent much of my childhood in Nebraska and South Dakota. I returned to Colorado in 2023, as it has always felt like home.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Health Sciences from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2022. During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered with a therapeutic horseback riding program serving children and adults with developmental disabilities, participated in cardiovascular disease research, and competed in intramural sports leagues.

I began my career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2024 at Autism West with limited prior knowledge of the field. Shortly thereafter, I became an RBT and quickly developed a strong appreciation for the meaningful impact this work has on clients and their families. I have always been passionate about helping others and about science—interests that often align with the medical field. However, I am especially grateful to have found ABA and Autism West, where I can combine these passions to make a difference in clients’ lives. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is celebrating daily small wins and supporting clients as they develop greater independence through improvements in social, communication, and life skills.

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026.

Outside of work, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle. You can often find me snowboarding, participating in co-ed sports leagues, spending time at the lake, or working out at the gym. I also enjoy watching television and shopping in my free time.
