“Hi there! My name is Gabriella Grayson, but you can call me Gabby!
I am currently pursuing my MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Transpersonal Art Therapy at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I received my BA in Art Therapy Preparation with a minor in Ceramics from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (my hometown), in 2023.
I have always loved making art and learning more about mental health, so I chose to combine two of my favorite passions to pursue counseling and art therapy! Currently, I am working for Autism West Behavior Partners in Westminster, Colorado, as a practicum student, and will eventually be interning there as well. I am also a Registered Behavioral Technician at Behavioral Innovations in Arvada, Colorado, working with children aged two to ten years old.
I have had various experiences working with children and adolescents up to nineteen years old with ASD, ADHD, and behavioral and social challenges. My education, both at Naropa and Carlow, has taught me a lot about trauma-informed care with a transpersonal, multicultural approach.
I like to enter each session with an open mind, groundedness, compassion, and am always willing to collaborate with clients! Whether it is art-based or not, I love to stay creative and flexible, depending on every client’s needs. If I sound like the right fit for you, I am happy to support you through any challenges you’re facing and would love to work with you to reach your goals!"
