Hello! I’m Alexis Sharp, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (MA, BCBA) and the Clinical Director at Autism West.

Originally from North New Jersey, I began my career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) more than 10 years ago as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and worked my way through each level of clinical leadership. I completed my undergraduate studies in psychology and anthropology before earning my master’s degree in special education and Applied Behavior Analysis. My experience working directly with clients and families throughout my career has shaped my passion for providing compassionate, meaningful, and individualized care.

I am deeply passionate about assent-based services, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and inclusion. I believe neurodiversity makes the world a richer, more creative, and more interesting place, and I strive to ensure every client feels respected, valued, and supported as their authentic self. I also have a strong love for science and evidence-based practice, and I enjoy combining clinical excellence with compassionate care to help clients build meaningful skills and greater independence.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my two young boys, who are truly the center of my universe. They keep life busy, joyful, and full of adventure, and constantly remind me of the importance of curiosity, connection, and celebrating individuality.
