Hi, my name is Alexa, and I’m a Senior RBT at Autism West’s Aurora location. Originally from Indianapolis, IN, I moved to Denver about five years ago. I studied Exercise Science and Child Psychology at Ball State University, where I first gained experience in various ABA settings and quickly fell in love with the field. After graduating, I knew I wanted to continue in ABA and have now been in the field for six years. Once I earned my RBT in Colorado, my passion for ABA deepened, leading me to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at CU Denver.

What I love most about the field of ABA is the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of children and their families. Since the beginning of my journey, I’ve been inspired by the resilience and growth I witness everyday. Helping clients overcome challenging behaviors and supporting them as they build communication, social, and life skills is incredibly rewarding. I love that ABA allows me to combine science and empathy to support lasting, meaningful change. ABA is not just a profession but my passion and I’m excited to keep learning and evolving to be a better practitioner!”
